At Lighthouse Sustainability, our Carbon Literacy training goes beyond awareness—we equip businesses with the practical tools and confidence to drive real change.

Led by experienced trainers, our interactive, solutions-focused approach creates a supportive space for meaningful action.

Every learner leaves with two pledges to reduce carbon emissions and a Carbon Literate certification that sets them apart as a sustainability leader. 

Carbon Literacy Training

• What: A full day’s training, delivered over 1 day or 2 half-day sessions, online or in person
• Who: Suitable for everyone, no previous knowledge required
• Outcome: Submit your pledges to gain Carbon Literate certification

Train the Trainer for Carbon Literacy

• What: 3 half-days of training, delivered online or in person
• Who: Suitable for any Carbon Literate individual with basic training experience
• Outcome: Feel confident and ready to deliver training in your workplace or community.
• An essential part of becoming a certified Carbon Literacy Trainer. 

• What: Accreditation to recognise an organisation with a substantial commitment to Carbon Literacy
• Who: Any organisation wanting to demonstrate their commitment
• Outcome: A visible award that recognises your ongoing efforts towards carbon reduction and wider advocacy

CLO accreditation encourages the roll out of training across your workforce and wider stakeholders such as supply chain. 

Any size of organisation can become accredited: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum level reflect the percentage of the workforce trained, alongside wider activities and milestones.

We can help you develop and accredit your own Carbon Literacy course, as well as certified Facilitators and Trainers to support your roll out.
