Are you interested in becoming a Carbon Literacy Trainer?

We all love doing things that give us a buzz, right?

I’ll be honest, rather than working in sustainability because I ‘want to make a difference’ or because I’m ‘passionate about it’, I deliver sustainability training because it gives me almost instant satisfaction. Selfish? Well, there are worse ways to get your kicks!

I’ve discovered that I’m a bit of a dopamine junkie, and perhaps that’s why the highs and lows of training keep me coming back for more. The feedback we get shows that we are on the right track, a safe pair of hands, and importantly, we are successfully shifting mindsets and motivating our course attendees to take action. Knowledge is only the first step, and it is alone is not enough. We specialise in working more deeply with attendees so that each leaves having moved from a point of knowing about climate change to one of understanding their role in it, and, most critically, feeling they have permission and support to engage with the topic. Essentially, they have the knowledge, the ability, and importantly, the motivation to act.

Over the coming months, we’re going to focus more on sharing the feedback we get from our courses, the outcomes, and the motivations that our clients share with us.

We hope this will encourage more and more of you to sign up to become Carbon Literate yourself – find our next Open Course here, to train your teams (from less than £130 a head), and to share and promote Carbon Literacy training, but also our growing range of other workshop and training offerings. Watch this space for more on that soon!

If you are interested in ‘finding your buzz,’ drop me a line about becoming a Carbon Literacy trainer.
