Lighthouse delivered Carbon Literacy training to eight of the Ecosurety leadership team, including the CEO, resulting in a commitment to develop a new sector-specific Carbon Literacy course tailored to the core members and supplier base across the UK packaging sector.
The strategy was simple – develop the wider team’s awareness and understanding of sustainability, reducing the burden on a handful of individuals. Education through Carbon Literacy training was key to the success of this strategy.
Starting in September 2023, and running over a 6-month period, Lighthouse delivered a series of monthly ‘Lunch and Learn’ 1-hour webinars covering 6 key topics, beginning with broader climate change knowledge and progressing toward actionable strategies.
